City of London Hotels
The heart of the City of London is now and always has been the commercial heart of London. This area becomes a ghost town at the weekend when all the office workers are home in the suburbs.

In terms of accommodation, for the visitor by far the best place in the area are the hotels around the Tower of London. Most are large, brand name hotels. At the weekend there can be some good deals here when the financiers are away from their desks.

Otherwise there are some hotels scattered around the edges of the 'square mile' as the financial area is called. We have used the main railway station as the focal point for our hotels around Liverpool Street.
