This tour allows you to visit the most popular destinations for day tours from London over a 2-day period at a much more leisurely pace, less frantic than in one day.
There is also much more flexibility to see what you want to see at a pace you want to see it at than a typical coach tour. Apart from Stonehenge, where entry is included in the cost, everything else you decide what you want to visit.
At places like Bath and Oxford there is a great variety to see and experience, you could spend a couple of days at each. This tour allows you to select what interests you.
At quieter places you will have time to linger and take photos independently without chasing after a guide.
The driver-guide is there to tell stories, give insights and answer your questions. Once at a destination it will vary how much if any guiding is performed by the driver-guide, the accent is to enable you to see and experience what is most rewarding for you personally within a small group.

Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswolds & Oxford tour itinerary - what to expect
Day 1
We head out west from London. Your driver-guide will do the introductions, run you through the logistics of the tour and begin to give you insights into what you are witnessing and the first destination ahead.
It is motorway almost all the way to our first stop at Stonehenge, but after Stonehenge you are in some of the best of the English countryside that is your companion for most of the tour. Your small touring bus can venture down the roads and access destinations the big coach tours cannot.

First stop is Stonehenge the best known prehistoric monument in Europe.

In under an hours scenic drive lies Lacock, a preserved medieval village famous for its picturesque streets, historic buildings, and role as a period film and television location.

Another 30 minutes and you are in Bath, a wide variety of attractions await including the Roman Baths.

The day finishes in Bristol our overnight stop. Bristol is a historic city home to Clifton's iconic suspension bridge, where you are free to walk and offering stunning views of the Avon Gorge. Bristol is also home to the SS Great Britain Brunel's ground breaking steamship and various murals left behind by the world’s most famous street artist, Banksy.
Day 2
- Next day we head for the Cotswolds and first stop is the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, one of the prettiest villages in England. It has been nicknamed “the Venice of the Cotswolds” due to the striking footbridges that cross the River Windrush.

Continue through the Cotswold landscapes making for Oxford. But just on the edge of the Cotswolds we visit Woodstock, a picturesque market town with many independent shops and home to Blenheim Palace; the birthplace of Winston Churchill. You can also visit his grave at the nearby St Martin's Church.

The last stop of the tour is Oxford, renowned for 900 years of academic excellence through its world-famous university. A complimentary guided walking tour is included.
Accommodation, food & luggage
On reservation you have a choice of a guest house or hotel with breakfast included.
Single rooms and family rooms are available.
Food and drink is not included in the tour price except breakfast on the second day.
Your driver-guide will provide guidance on the best options throughout the tour.
Luggage Allowance: You're restricted to 15kg (33lbs) of luggage per person on our tours. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 40cm x 20cm / 22in x 16in x 8in) plus a very small bag for on-board personal items.
