The Hilton Hotel Heathrow Terminal 5 is a brand new Hilton Hotel opened in September 2011. There is another Hilton, the original Hilton Hotel at Heathrow that is connected to Terminal 4.

Despite its name, the Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5 is not at Terminal 5 itself but over a mile away. You require a shuttle bus called Hotel Hoppa. This runs about every 30 minutes from the hotel to all terminals. If you want a luxury hotel that is linked to Terminal 5 then the Sofitel Heathrow meets this specification.

Note: There are two Hilton hotels at Heathrow Airport. The other, the Hilton Hotel Terminal 4 is attached to Terminal 4 and runs its own free shuttle bus to Terminal 5.

The Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5 is a business orientated hotel in acres of landscaped grounds. There are 4 passenger terminals at Heathrow numbered 1,3,4 and 5. The hotels at Heathrow are not allowed to run their own airport shuttle vehicles between the airport and the hotels.

Hoppa Buses - are regulated by the airport authority and run on fixed routes, each serving 2 or 3 Heathrow airport hotels. Hotels have one bus for Terminals 1 & 3, another for Terminals 4 & 5.
