The Travelodge Terminal 5 Heathrow is a hotel opened in December 2007. It is positioned at the south western tip of Heathrow, and is one of the closest hotels to Terminal 5.

If you are not using Terminal 5, then the Travelodge Heathrow Central hotel is more appropriate. Travelodge Heathrow Central is a newer hotel than the Terminal 5 hotel, opened in December 2008 and has direct connections both shuttle bus and public bus connections to Heathrow's central area where Terminals 1 and 3 are. The central area also has a free train link to Terminal 4.

The Travelodge chain often has 'saver' rates available. These are advance purchase, no refund rates which when available are the lowest room rates at Heathrow Airport.

Heathrow Passenger Terminal Transfers :

No complementary hotel shuttle buses run to/from any mainstream Heathrow hotel.

Instead, 'Hoppa Buses', (pictured leftt) and regulated by the airport authority run on fixed routes, each serving 2 or 3 hotels. Hotels have one bus for Terminals 1 &3, another for Terminals 4 & 5.
