The Travelodge Terminal 5 Heathrow is a hotel opened in December 2007. It is positioned at the south western tip of Heathrow, and is one of the closest hotels to Terminal 5. The hotel is right next to Junction 14 of the M25 motorway.

Note: you cannot walk to Terminal 5 itself from the Travelodge Terminal 5.

If you are using Terminal 1 or 3, then the Travelodge Heathrow Central hotel is more appropriate. Travelodge Heathrow Central is a newer hotel than the Terminal 5 hotel, opened in December 2008 and has direct connections both shuttle bus and public bus connections to Heathrow's central area where Terminals 1 and 3 are. The central area also has a free train link to Terminal 4.

The Travelodge chain often has 'saver' rates available. These are advance purchase, no refund rates which when available are the lowest room rates at Heathrow Airport.

Car Parking - Car Parking is only available whilst resident at the Travelodge for up to five consecutive nights. Last advised as £7.50 per night for residents.

Travelodge Heathrow Terminal 5 Transfers To/From Passenger Terminals:

There are 4 passenger terminals at Heathrow numbered 1,3,4 and 5. The hotels at Heathrow are not allowed to run their own airport shuttle vehicles between the airport and the hotels.

Note: Hoppa Buses only go to Terminal 5 from Travelodge Terminal 5.

There are free local buses from Terminal 5 to Terminal 4 and you can use the Heathrow Express train from Terminal 5 free over to Terminals 1 and 3.

Hoppa Buses - are regulated by the airport authority and run on fixed routes, each serving 2 or 3 Heathrow airport hotels. Hotels have one bus for Terminals 1 & 3, another for Terminals 4 & 5.
