The
Sheraton Skyline Hotel Heathrow
is a large hotel on the northern perimeter road (the Bath Road)
of Heathrow.
Care should be taken not to confuse it with the Sheraton
Heathrow Hotel, also on the Bath Road about 2 Kms west.
Note residents are charged for overnight car parking.

The
Bath Road is the main hotel strip at Heathrow and the Sheraton is
just one of a long line of very large chain hotels.
If you want a cheap alternative to the hotel fayre there is a McDonalds
about 200m west of the Sheraton Skyline. The airport bowling alley
is about 500m the other way. |

Hotel Transfers By Hoppa Bus
Hotels
cannot run their own complementary shuttle buses to the terminals.
Instead a fleet of 'Hoppa Buses', (pictured left) regulated by the airport
authority run on fixed routes, each serving 2 or 3 hotels.

Hoppa services run to Terminals 1,2,3 and Terminal 5 (separate services)
For Terminal 4 go to Central (Terminal 1,2,3), then the Heathrow
Connect train (free). Heathrow Connect trains run every 15 minutes
between Central and Terminal 4.
Buses run every 15-20 minutes between the hotel and passenger terminals
approximately between 04:20 and 23:00
Fare £4 per journey per adult (£8 return)
If you have relatively light luggage you can do the same journey
free using local buses. From the Central Bus Station catch a red
local bus, routes 285, 105 and 140. The airport subsidises these
buses, this is a free ride.
These buses stop outside the Sheraton, you cannot miss the hotel.
Ring
the bell when you see the Marriott on your left, the Sheraton is
the next hotel.
You can take the free Heathrow Connect and Heathrow Express trains
between Terminals 4,5 and Central (between Terminals 1,2,3).
There
is also a public bus that stops outside the Sheraton Skyline, route
423 that goes to Terminal 5 and is free.

A McDonald's, (pictured above is in front of the Radisson Edwardian.The
location is a safe area to walk, (like all Heathrow) with the normal
